My Services:

Home Visit Lactation Consultations - These take place in the privacy and comfort of your home. Visits generally last 1 ½-2 hours. A consultation includes a general health and birth history, assessment of the mother’s breasts, assessment of the infant’s general health and oral anatomy, and a feeding observation. I review positioning and latch-on techniques. The amount of milk your baby gets is confirmed by using a specialized, highly accurate baby scale. Together we develop a plan to help you achieve your breastfeeding goals. A copy of the plan may be sent to your baby’s doctor and to your health care provider. Phone or email follow up is included. Additional follow up visits are available if needed.

Virtual Lactation Consultations - Many questions and concerns can be addressed by video conference. I am available to help you wherever you are located. In response to COVID-19, a virtual visit is an excellent alternative.

Prenatal Classes - Be as prepared to nurse your baby as you are to give birth. A private or small group prenatal breastfeeding class provides the information, skills and confidence needed for a successful nursing experience.

Pediatrics on Hudson Office Visits - I am a member of the healthcare team, providing in-office lactation consultations for patients of the practice. Your insurance company will be billed directly. Appointments are booked through their office at 914-963-1663.

Payment is due by cash, check or Venmo at the time of the visit. I will provide you with a receipt that you can use to seek insurance reimbursement. No guarantees are made for insurance reimbursement. For specific coverage details, call your insurance provider.
