Since graduating from the Columbia University School of Nursing in 1981, I have been assisting breastfeeding families. As a Registered Nurse, I have worked in outpatient clinics and in-patient labor and delivery, postpartum and neonatal units. I have been a Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) since 1993 in private practice providing home visits, group classes, and professional education in Westchester County, the Bronx and Manhattan.

I began my career in Social Work, working with diverse people of all ages and backgrounds. I learned to listen, respect, validate and empower my clients as core goals for my consultation practice. As a mother of two grown children, I understand the challenges and offer support without judgement. I live with my husband and our rambunctious mini Aussie in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY.
